In 2005 I was submitting theme music to many projects. They would ask for a particular sound and I would write to try and match that request. Most of the pieces were instrumental, but there was one request for a modern sort of punky song with singing.

I guess I already had this song within me, and the political based lyrics fall right in with what I was writing 12 or so years earlier. The lyrics are critical of where the GW Bush administration had us involved in at the time, yet hopeful for tomorrow. Which I suppose we're in today. Still more progress to be made, but we're on our way to the "tomorrow" I wrote about in this song.
