The release that burst open the gates for Tribunal Records. North Carolina's PRAYER FOR CLEANSING were at the forefront of the burgeoning melodic metalcore movement of the late-'90s—along with bands like Undying, Endthisday, As Hope Dies, Heartscarved, etc. After their breakup, members went on to form the influential Between the Buried & Me. Even now, over 25 years since its initial release, the impact of PRAYER FOR CLEANSING's lone full-length can be heard throughout the flourishing metalcore scene of the present generation.

Back on CD for the first time since 2003, this reissue restores the original 1999 album mix, which has been newly remastered by Jamie King Audio.
