Martin Nonstatic closes his sonic triptych with the Vyana EP. A short story built upon 4 tracks echoing the atmospheres of the Apana EP and Treeline album while opening to new sensations and emotions. The composer brings his distinctive array of pads, bass lines, glitchy textures and unfurls evanescent ever floating melodies to reach new grounds. Neither above nor below, here nor there, an absolute presence, as vital and essential as breath.
Derived from the Latin "Ultimae Terrae," meaning "the furthest places," the name Ultimae reflects a profound theme of exploration. This concept is at the heart of Ultimae Records, an ambient music label dedicated to transporting listeners to the outer edges of experience through sound.
