Unreleased Goa Records celebrates the highly anticipated return of legendary Israeli act Todra. The duo consists of Mishel Bitton (Sonichaos) and Avi Peled (Side Effect). They started to create music individually in 1997. Introduced by a mutual friend, they first met at a party they both played at and arranged to meet again for a studio session. They immediately developed a musical chemistry that first gave birth to a few melodic tracks featured on local compilations, and then to their first album "Figure Of Sound", that showcased a more mature musical approach. Todra was almost instantly signed to Krembo Records, who released their album on CD and vinyl in 1998 and received a great response worldwide.

The duo decided to name their project after an Israeli song they both loved, about a village named Todra, located at the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. It was supposed to be a temporary name, but they never got to change it as it proved to be catchy. During their collaboration, Avi and Mishel went through a lot of amazing experiences together, working at the studio around the clock and playing at numerous parties. Their style is a combination of hard, forceful music, sometimes dark with sweeping melodies, very suitable for this time-period. Todra's musical influences include Astral Projection, X-Dream, Etnica, Juno Reactor and more. Avi was a drummer for many years, influenced by heavy metal, a style somehow reflected in Todra's music. In their studio, they worked with many synths such as TB303, Nordlead, Virus, Pulse, Supernova-Novation among others. They also incorporated an electric guitar, a drum machine, an effects machine and the first version of Cubase, which was upgraded after their first album.

"Dust From The Past" is Todra's original second album (previously unreleased), produced by the duo around the end of 1998, after returning from a trip to India where they performed live. The album title reflects the fact that for more than 20 years it was forgotten deep inside a drawer and literally raised dust! Both Avi and Mishel thought this album would never see the light of day. They pretty much forgot about it while working on separate musical projects, having a family and a stable work, and moving to places very much apart. However, after waiting quietly in the background, once again music found a way to cross the boundaries of time. For the duo this was the right time to resurface this material, as it symbolizes both a closure and an exciting new beginning. Fans of their first album finally get a chance to share Todra's musical vision as it progressed towards the end of the millennium.

DAT Universe sublabel, perceived as a logical continuation and the final phase of the “Unreleased Goa Project”, that exists since 2007. The aim is to release in digital format until now hidden and obscure Goa Trance tracks, or re-release rare albums.
