Erik Yahnkovf delivers a raw and industrial techno EP with hypnotic grooves via Unrilis.

Unrilis is a longstanding techno record label that was co-founded by the late Rino Cerrone before his retirement from the music industry, and this is the first time that Erik Yahnkovf has featured on the imprint.

Based in Mexico, Erik Yahnkovf has been releasing music for over a decade on imprints such as Arjun Vagale & Ramiro Lopez's Odd Recordings, A.Paul's Naked Lunch, Ferhat Albayrak's Jeton Records, Chicago Jaxxx, and his own CAPRICORN. Erik's sound has evolved throughout his career, but he has always fused dark atmosphere with driving percussion and captivating synth sounds.

"Contingencia" opens the release with crunching percussion and a brutal kick drum forming a framework for the menacing tones of the lead synth. "Hostigamiento" ups the energy with bleeping synths, dystopian pads and high-velocity percussion underpinned by a rumbling bassline. "Number One" has distorted looped vocals and thrashing hi-hats intertwining with metallic synths.

Unrilis is the natural consequence of the forerunner Rilis, the Naples based revered label which Rino Cerrone and Mario Manganelli created in 1999. While at first, Unrilis was focused on publishing the incredible amount of unreleased works that Rino Cerrone composed throughout the years.
