It was a cool four years ago we last heard from Voodoocuts and the Juice On Wax label, but out of nowhere here they come with a serious party swagger packed onto a nifty slice of 7". 'El Chino' is a fiery Latin roller revolving around a killer break, nimble vibes and a steady piano hook. Balancing the live instrumentation with some studio craft gives this one a modern, uptempo feel which should find it slipping into all kinds of DJ sets with ease. 'Mambo Mambo" has a raunchier feel, with a clattering beat and seriously sizzling brass romping all over the tumbledown grooves.
