In this album I felt compelled to take a folky, prog rock detour inspired by my roots creating a sort of trekking along in an outdoors voyage vibe sprinkled with psychedelic glitter.

Zoungla is a music project that compiles a wide variety of music styles into an epic journey. Inspired by the greats such as Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, and Devin Townsend, Costa became impressed by a new set of greats​ ​and his love for music continued to expand towards the world of psychedelic music, Costa paints Zoungla with a mix of unusually overlapping music genres to create an epic symphony.
