In the early '80s, Ray Alex began his musical journey with NEPTUNE, a band known for evolving lineups and luminaries. He later joined Glory, contributing to early demos. Afterward, Ray became the voice of West End, and he, along with Anders Olsson, created "Love is a Stranger" in less than 24 hours, which later found its place on "In Truth We Trust."

Post-NEPTUNE, Anders Olsson formed UNICORN with Jan (Tosh) Anderson, and they ventured into diverse musical landscapes, including projects. The creative session sparked the birth of JAR. With their studio, Jan and Anders embraced cutting-edge recording technology, expanding their creative arsenal.

"In Truth We Trust" was born in 1993 on cassette, enjoyed a digital resurgence in the '90s, and featured a personalized CD option through MP3.com. There where some plans to re-record the whole album. Unfortunately, Ray Alex passed away in 2019 before seeing the project's full realization. His remarkable voice continues to resonate through the album's expressive notes and soulful vibrato.

JAR is a Swedish AOR band formed in 1990, often compared to Survivor, Prism and Boston. With a rich musical background, the band focuses on delivering powerful harmonies and captivating melodies in their songs.
